How can I book a New York holiday apartment?
A: We are currently upgrading our online reservations system. However,
once we have confirmed availability, all apartments can be booked directly
over the phone and payment can be made by credit card. In the meantime
a member of the reservations team will issue an apartment booking form
for the party leader to complete.
Q: Is it secure to
pay with my credit card?
A: Yes, it is completely safe and secure to book and pay by credit card.
We are a registered company in Dublin, Ireland. In order to be able
to process customer credit card payments, newyorkapartments.ie is required
to comply with The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI
DSS). We have system checks in place to ensure your data is protected.
Q: When do I get
my New York apartment booking confirmation email?
A: Once the booking deposit/payment has cleared, we will issue you with
your booking depost/confirmation email containing full details of the
apartment address, local contact/representative and check-in details
etc.
Q: Can I cancel or
modify my booking?
A: Yes. Cancellations and amendments policies vary per apartment. Please
refer to the apartment booking terms or contact a member of the reservations
team.
Q: What is the exact
address of the apartment?
A: For privacy reasons we do not disclose the exact New York apartment
addresses on newyorkapartments.ie. We do of course provide maps of the
exact street location on Google maps. When you place your booking, you
will be provided with a booking confirmation that contains the complete
address of the holiday apartment.
Q: What are the check-in
procedures and where do I get the key to the apartment?
A: You booking confirmation email will contain details on how to check-in.
In nearly all cases, there is a 24 hour doorman/concierge and he will
provide you with the key to your apartment.
Q: What do I do if
I have a problem with the apartment?
A: All customers are provided with the name and contact number for their
local NYC representative who will be able to facilitate any requests
or queries regarding the apartment.
Q: What is the time
of check-in? Will I be able to check-in earlier?
A: Check-in time is 2pm onwards. Check-out time is 11am. Sometimes an
early check-in can be arranged upon request. Also, some apartments can
facilitate left luggage for those customers with flights departing New
York in the late afternoon/evening. Please contact a member of the reservations
team if you would like to make arrangements for left luggage.
Q: How do I check-out
of the apartment?
A: We kindly ask customers to leave the apartment in a tidy condition
and leave the keys with the doorman.
Q: How can I find
more information about neighborhood and location?
A: All of our New York holiday apartments are personally vetted and
hand picked. They are all located in ideal areas in Manhattan to facilitate
a comfortable stay and base for your New York holiday activities. If
you would like more information on the neighbourhood, please call us
and one of the reservation team will be happy to discuss suitable options.
Q: What extras or
equipment are provided with apartment?
A: All our New York Holiday Apartments are are completely serviced with
towels and bed linen and kitchen will have full set of cooking utensils
and kitchenware like the cutlery, the glasses, the plates, the pots
and pans. Appliances such as an iron, hairdryer or Internet access differs
per each New York apartment. All these details are outlined in each
apartment listing on our website. Alternatively, please contact a member
of the reservations team who will be happy to answer you questions.
Q: Who cleans the
apartments?
A: All apartments are serviced and cleaned by contracted professionals
to ensure they are in perfect condition upon your arrival. Please contact
a member of the reservations team if you would like to make arrangements
for a daily maid cleaning service.
Q: Is smoking allowed
in the apartment?
A: To be courteous to the next guest and non-smokers, it is our policy
that all apartments are non-smoking.
Q: I want to pay
by bank transfer. Please advise the best way.
A: If you would like to pay by bank transfer please contact us and we
will send you our bank account details. All bank transfers should be
made at least 21 days before your check–in date.
Q: Do you add additional
fees for payments by credit cards?
A: No.
Q: What is the security
deposit?
A: A credit card authorisation will be filled out at the time of booking
which is used as a security deposit to guarantee the safe-keeping of
the apartment by the customer. The customer understands that he or she
is liable for damages to the apartment or the equipment in the apartment
during his or her stay. The customer agrees that his or her credit card
will be debited for the full amount of damages directly caused by the
customer or members of their party.
